The Affordable Care Act (ACA) – commonly called Federal Healthcare Reform – became law on March 23, 2010. Starting in July 2010 and continuing, the Affordable Care Act will be implemented by both the Federal and State Governments. The Federal Government has created its implementation website www.healthcare.gov. However, States face challenges that will require legislative and/or administrative action to conform state laws.
State activity is not accessible via the Federal Government's healthcare reform website. Baxter's external vendor, StateNet, has created an internet based tool to afford 24/7 access to state activities on ACA. This new tool will:
