
Mick HuntMick Hunt, RPh, M.S, MBA, FASHP, is Vice President of Pharmacy at Novation in Irving, Texas, where he is responsible for providing leadership for Novation's pharmaceutical services and contracting teams with responsibility for all pharmacy contracting and distribution activities.
Previously, Hunt was director of pharmacy at the University of Kentucky Hospital and associate professor and assistant dean in the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy for nine years. In addition, he served as director of pharmacy at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, for 13 years and as assistant director of pharmacy at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Hunt received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in pharmacy from the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and completed a concurrent residency in hospital pharmacy at Grant Hospital in Columbus, OH. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
Hunt served as president and chair of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and remains active in numerous nationally recognized pharmaceutical organizations.
Harold N. GodwinHarold N. Godwin, M.S., RPh, FASHP, is a Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Associate Dean at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy for Clinical and Medical Center Affairs. Godwin spent more than 30 years as the University of Kansas Hospital's Director of Pharmacy prior to continuing as a full-time pharmacy educator at the University.
He is currently President-elect of the APhA and will take over leadership of the organization as President in March 2010. Godwin also serves as Vice President of the Kansas Pharmacy Foundation. Previously, Godwin served as President of the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists (ASHP), Board Member and President of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and President of the Kansas Pharmacists Association.
His honors include the H.A.K. Whitney Award, the John W. Webb Award, Kansas Pharmacist-of-the-Year and the APhA-APPM Distinguished Achievement Award in Hospital and Institutional Practice.
Godwin graduated from the University of Kansas with a BS degree in pharmacy. He later received his MS degree in hospital pharmacy from the Ohio State University in Columbus. He also completed a two-year residency at the Ohio State University Hospitals.
